Our office is at 665 Hillside Avenue, so New Hyde Park is the area we know street by street. The village straddles the Towns of Hempstead and North Hempstead, and the New Hyde Park name also covers several unincorporated neighborhoods around it. Jericho Turnpike and Hillside Avenue are the main commercial roads, while New Hyde Park Road and Lakeville Road lead to Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Cohen Children's Medical Center and Northwell's offices on Marcus Avenue.

That medical presence is huge, and so is the competition for patients. Specialists, physical therapists and imaging centers crowd the roads near the hospitals, and many patients come from Queens as well as Nassau.
